What’s in it for me?
You will receive regular feedback on the best car insurance deals available to you. The feedback is available in the ‘Feedback’ section of the Opinion Driver website.

How do I change / update my profile?
Click ‘Update your account’ in the right-hand side column of the home page. You need to be logged into the panel to change your profile.

I have forgotten my password – what do I do?
To login you need the email address you used when joining the panel and a password. If you have forgotten your password just click on ‘Reset your password’ in the right-hand column of the page.

Do I need to login each time I visit?
Yes, for security purposes, every member of the panel must login with their username and password.

General Questions

When you send the feedback results each month, will I receive an email from each insurance provider?
No, you will not receive multiple emails.  The feedback results are available on the website. You will receive an email to tell you when they are available. You will not be contacted by insurance companies as a result of being an Opinion Driver member. 

What happens to my personal information and the answers I give?
Your personal information is used to communicate with you and manage your Opinion Driver membership. Your name, address, vehicle registration number and all the other information collected at registration (excluding email address) are used in a car insurance ‘aggregator’ that processes the best available car insurance quotes for you and are necessary to ensure the quotes are personal to you. However, you will never receive any solicitation from insurance companies or brokers as a result of participating in the Opinion Driver panel.

At times we may change some of your information we send through the ‘aggregator’ to test how insurance prices change when certain information is changed. However, we will not vary any sensitive personal information/data and we will always send you your monthly best quotes based on the information you have given us.

Who owns Opinion Driver?
Opinion Driver is owned and managed by Tribes Research Limited and Pearson Ham Consulting Ltd.

Tribes Research (www.tribesresearch.co.uk) is a digital market research company and manage Opinion Driver on behalf of Pearson Ham, to better understand the insurance market.

Pearson Ham is a consultancy specialising in price optimisation studies (www.pearsonham.com).

How do I unsubscribe from Opinion Driver?
Just go to ‘Unsubscribe’ on the website and follow the instructions. Alternatively email sam@opiniondriver.co.uk with ‘Unsubscribe’ in the subject line, or click on the ‘Unsubscribe’ link in any of the emails we send you.

Can I rejoin Opinion Driver once unsubscribed?
If you unsubscribe by mistake or wish to rejoin Opinion Driver please email sam@opiniondriver.co.uk.
